Club Details
This club should be of interest to experienced players and those wishing to improve their game. We play 1 team in the Bury League and have regular Thursday meetings.
The "Bishops" (in Division 1) play home matches on Thursday. We would be keen to re-start a 2nd team if club membership increases.
Membership is in 2 parts:
a) Membership of the Beet Club venue (approx £10 p.a. depending on circumstances, which includes a licensed bar) and
b) Membership of Chess club (currently £15 p.a. for team members, or £10 p.a. for non-team members, or option of £1 a night for new members for 10 weeks while deciding whether to join).
